Is the weekend really over????

Before I start today's blog - take a look at this picture and tell me what you see. A sweet baby? Maybe cooing? or babbling? or giggling? WRONG! Charlie has recently, we think, swallowed a whistle. He blows this whistle every few seconds, much like a referee. It is the most ungodly high-pitched scream/squeal I have ever heard. This is a picture of Charlie blowing his whistle.
Though the sounds makes you want to tear your own eyes out, you can't exactly get mad or frustrated because it is the sound he makes when he is excited and happy. He must be one happy, happy little fella!

Well, as usual, the weekend was just too short.  We really didn't do much, which always makes for a nice weekend here! Friday night, we actually stayed home (I know!) and sadly watched the Angels lose to the Red Sox, but we made up for it on Saturday night when we schlepped the brood to Pioneer Place for a fabulous meal at the mall. Big Spenders. Saturday night, we watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which was such a good movie! Raunchy and touching all at the same time! Here are some pics from the past few days:

Henry loves "going downstairs" before bedtime to spend some quality time with Daddy on the couch as he settles down for the night. He says he wants to watch "baseball" or "football" with Daddy - when I really know he just doesn't want to go to bed.
Here is a sneak peak of Charlie's Halloween costume. I just couldn't wait to put him in it!!! Roar!!
Here is one way to keep Charlie in one place!

Henry going ape on his Spiderman punching bag. Charlie HAS to be right where the action is, which is usually to is detriment. Shortly after this picture was taken, Charlie took one to the top of the head.

Hi Charlie!

Here is Charlie playing with Henry's squishy octopus thingy he got at the mall Friday. As we all know, Charlie cannot keep food or beverage down, and throws up ALL of the time. Between this photo and the last photo, he must have spit-up....keep scrolling down...

I'm so sorry Henry! This is what happens when Charlie gets a hold of something. This toy is now a sticky lump that smells real bad. I love how the "perp" is in the background!
