HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Happy Halloween! Prepare for some crazy cuteness! I was able to leave work a little early today so that I would miss the inevitable Halloween+Friday traffic, which allowed for some time to throw together a pot of chili before I picked the little pumpkins up from school. Henry was SO ready to put his costume on as soon as we got in the car today. He told me that Charlie was going to be a "little lion" and "Henwy is going to be a BIG pirate".

Here is our big pirate...thank you 50% off Pottery Barn! This is a size 4-6 BOYS so Henry will be sporting this pirate get-up for years to come!

Daddy's home!
And the winner of the pumpkin carving contest is.....DADDY!
Henry loves our neighbor's cat, Sampson. Here is Henry and Sampson sharing a sweet hello.
Have I mentioned that Charlie is pulling himself up into a full standing position now?! I just know that he will be taking his first steps SOON! Shortly after this picture was taken, Charlie fell forward and hit is right eye on the drawer pull. We needed a cut-man for this incident. But Charlie only cried for one minute....tough guy!
Post cut...Roar!
But mom, I just shaved this morning, whats with this crazy fuzz on my face??
"I love you brother. Whatcha doin'?" Henry: Don't look at me Tarley!
Now what are you doing brother? Can I have some of what you are having?
Trick-or-Treating in Alameda. This is the first year that we have trick-or-treated in our neighborhood (we usually cheat and go to the richer neighborhood aka: my parents), but it was AWESOME! There were SO many families and kids walking around. Nate said it was like the scene from E.T., I say "Mr. Mom", either way, we were so impressed!
Don't show PETA this photo...a lion strapped down to a stroller...against his will.
Charlie riding in the front seat - Henry in the trunk:
The "hook" proved to be too much baggage for Henry. I mean, how was he supposed to carry his glo stick, hook AND candy bag (which required two hands anyways!)??
Henry's new line is "Yeave me ayone!" (leave me alone)

It was a very fun Halloween. As we sit here, it is 10:00pm and Henry is still banging around in his room - which couldn't possibly be related to the two candy bars he ate at 8:00 tonight, right? And our neighbors have a live band in their house (which might as well be in our house it is so loud) to compliment their homemade horror house in their driveway. It is going to be a long night in our uninsulated attic bedroom.

THE END - love, B
