This one's for Uncle T!!!!

Hi Uncle T, it's Henry.....I have something to show YOU!
Check out my Wall-E BED TENT!!!!
Uncle T swears that a bed tent is a childhood necessity and every child should have one, like he did. Well, Uncle T, Henry's childhood is complete!
I have lots of space to lay back and chill, and yea, that's my binky! You are going to have to come get it from me!!!
Here I am! No moms allowed! It gets a little bit sweaty in here, but thats ok, it is SO worth it! I can't wait for you to get here Uncle T so we can take a nap together in my new bed tent!

Henry may be sleeping in a new bed tent, but daddy got me a new, shiny cell phone. I'm checking some scores here, like daddy does.

Mom! Stop with the camera - I'm busy! Charlie came home early again from daycare today with a fever...but we think it might be teeth-related...I hope! Only two more days of daycare for Charlie!
Look how big my little boy looks!!! He just get sweeter and sweeter everyday. This week, Charlie's favorite things are giving hugs and dancing to any and all music. Oh yea, and waving bye-bye! This is Charlie's patented "dancing position":

And this was Henry's very last breathing treatment. Not because he completed all of the doses, but because this was the battle we fought EVERY time, and by "we", I mean "Nate". On Sunday, Henry turned back into "Henry" and we LOVE it. He is so cute and happy - it is unreal. Tonight, he was in the bathtub with a bath fizzy thing...when it melted down to nothing, Henry told me "Ah mom, I got bamboozled". WHAT?! Bamboozled??? Henry idolizes daddy, obviously.

Deja Vu...

No, this isn't a old picture from an old post...we are back
to Albuterol treatments and steroids....and RSV...and fevers...
and lethargic behaviors and lots and lots of fussing.

As of today, Henry has it the worst. Fever, fussy, coughing until
he throws up and just generally very ill. He went to the
doctor again yesterday and said that without treatment, he
would clear up in a few weeks...weeks?! With treatment, we can make him feel better
and speed things up a bit. So, we are doing breathing treatments every 4 hours, steroids
and tylenol.

Charlie pole dancing! The next photo in this sequence is Charlie on the floor with the lamp
pole on top of him. This was after I watched Charlie use his new step stool to get up on the coffee table. Tricky little boy he is!
Charlie is doing much better. He was sent home from daycare last Tuesday with a fever and vomiting. That was the first time I have ever seen Charlie sit still. In fact, he fell asleep on me at 5:30 and would have probably slept straight through the night. We missed our little sassy firecracker that night.
Phrase O' the week "I'm not feeing good".
Even though I took a vacation day today, I had to take a call - so I went out in the backyard. Meanwhile, Henry found my make up and did himself up right nice. He actually had mascara on his eyelashes...impressive Henry..impressive.

Charlie on the phone. He holds the phone up to the back of his head and "talks" - its really cute. Speaking of cute...Charlie got 2 more teeth today for a grand total of 6!!! I see many, many more on their way in too.
Charlie likes to make a monkey face and breathe in and out really fast. This is what that looks like:
And this picture sums up our week so far:
But 30 mins post-tylenol, Henry likes to play the drum game. He is pretty darn good! Before we start a song, Henry will yell "You ready to kick it??" Oh Henry.
Some random pics from the past couple of weeks. Wrestle time!

Henry tackling Charlie:

I think he was showing me how strong he is:
Sweetness:
New spiderman toothbrush! Electric!

How to:
Henry also likes to climb walls and ceilings like spiderman. Here he is on the ceiling.

Nate and I are splitting breathing treatment duties this week. I am home today with them and Nate will spend the morning tomorrow with the boys. I'll come home at lunch and finish out the day. Gets confusing huh? Here is to better days and better health!  Love,B

Happy New Year!

Well, the snow is gone, the decorations are packed (almost all of them anyway) and we just finished our first week back at work/daycare. We went from 15 mph to 100 mph - which means I haven't been taking any pictures. In fact, I actually had to reenter my login on blogger - which is always a bad sign.
The first week of January was surprisingly smooth considering we went from no schedule to very scheduled. The boys were really adaptable - more than me! We will get back in our groove soon. We tried to do our weekly mall trip last night, but Henry had other plans. He kept telling us "I'm not feeling good" and would cry out in pain every once in a while - which usually means "gas". The likely culprit was Henry held a BM in all day (god forbid he poo at school!). So we cut the mall trip short and went home so the boy could crap. He was a TOTALLY different kid after that. Problem solved.
We are working really hard on potty training and binky withdraw right now. Today has been a very good day in those areas. Day-by-day. We have resorted to bribes, whatever works. I told Henry that if he used the potty, he could get a new toy - he asked for a new toothbrush - spiderman. Thats my boy! He got an electric one and says that it "hurts", but I think he means tickles. He is napping with it right now.
So, I don't have very many recent pics, so I thought I'd post some from our recent trip to Medford
Grandma and Grandpa had tons of gifts waiting for these little guys! Henry was very into the gift opening process:
Notice Charlie's hair isn't nearly as wild. Its growing quite long and is laying much flatter the past two weeks.

Grandma and wiggle-worm:
Grandpa Stan and Charlie. We are pretty sure Grandpa and Charlie share similar interests...Charlie would often just put his forehead to Grandpas forehead and I think they were mentally sharing their positions on the space-time continuum.
Grandpa let Henry man the camera for a bit. Here is what he sees:
Great Aunt Patty:

Cousin Michelle:
I don't think Henry took this pic, but if he did, wow...he's pretty good. Great-grandma and Charlie.
Henry trying out all of the tools in his new doctor kit.

Great-Grandpa and Charlie sharing a beverage:
Great grandpa on the floor playing ball with the boys! While I am on the subject. Nate is convinced that Charlie is a lefty. Everytime he gets a ball, he picks it up with his right hand and switches it to his left and throws with his left. We will see....

Bath time! I love that they both have "side-wrinkles"
Something was hilarious - I love when they make each other laugh!

Hopefully I will be able to take more pictures this week as we settle back into the real world. Until then, Love, B
